Design Consultant:

The right person will be detail-oriented with relational sales, positive communication, and people skills. They will enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment with strong follow-through and a desire to grow with us. Our sales associates are an integral part of our company’s daily and long-term success as they are the face of our brands and customer experience. Our team prides themselves on working in the premier retail interior design showrooms in the Rocky Mountain region, putting customers first, recognizing that meaningful engagement leads to long term customer relationships and increased sales. They work closely with clients through in-store and in-home consultations to put together a comprehensive design that meets the customer’s needs.

Primary Role:

  • Greet clients in the Showroom, learn their needs, discuss product, gather information, and create a relationship.
  • Assist customers in the buying process from purchase to delivery follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Exhibit the culture of the Showroom and work to promote the success and overall well-being of the company.
  • Implement and maintain inspirational showroom vignettes consistent with our brand.
  • Maintain showroom, sales counter, and stockroom ensuring the flow of product provides an engaging experience.
  • Display a comprehensive and well-versed knowledge of the vendors and product offered through the Showroom.
  • Remain current with product development, design trends, interior design techniques.
  • Respond in a timely manner to any task assigned by the store manager or extended management team.
  • Increase personal knowledge of products, sales techniques, and promotions.
  • Perform in home client consultations
  • Any other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of interior design, furnishings and/or sales experience.
  • Coachable, detail-oriented go-getter energized by relationships and selling high end home furnishings.
  • Must be able to operate internal POS system and our sales/communication system.
  • Highly relational individual with a desire to provide outstanding service.
  • Confident using various technology platforms and software systems
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize deadlines, and provide high quality service to clients.
  • Ability to interact and support other team members including other designers, management, clients and vendors.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and mobilize small to medium items up to 50 lbs and help receive and unbox new product.
  • Ability to maneuver effectively around sales floor, stock room and office.
  • Position requires prolonged standing, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending and climbing.
