Pizza Hut is looking for a Design Coordinator to join our Advertising team. This exciting, newly created role will play an important part in impacting our visual identityas we continue to modernize and energize our brand!Thissuccessful candidate will have the know-how to come in and quickly support basic design requests but also the energy and passion to grow in the position taking on bigger creative opportunities along the way. If you have some video editing experience that would be the stuffing in the crust!
What you'll be doing:
- Provide on-brand graphic design and video editing services as needed for various requests including logo and creative development
- Update existing creative for specific marketing requests. Examples include resizing photography for app/web use and versioning out creative assets
- Provide your point of view on creative content when needed, being able to articulate why something does or doesn’t work
- Coordinate with agencies and suppliers to bring various design projects to completion
- Be the day-to-day contact for our photography production studio. Act as the key liaison between advertising and our food stylist/production manager learning the ins and outs of food photography production. Some travel to shoots may be required
- Coordinate and support production needs related to national product integrations
- Provide creative solutions to overcome barriers to meet tight deadlines
What you will bring:
- A strong creative eye with the willingness to learn and1-2 years of design experience
- Solid knowledge of how to handle and manipulate images and design elements, with heavy editing experience
- Proven work experience in graphic design with a portfolio you’re proud to share
- Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite with a specific focus on Photoshop and Illustrator is required
- Proficiencywith Microsoft Office, Word and Powerpoint is required
- An understanding of how to tell an impactful story visually. Video editing capabilities are a plus!
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once while demonstrating composure and flexibility under tight deadlines
- Strong communication, problem solving, and organization skills
- Willingness to share innovative ideas and solutions with the team to improve creative process
- Team player mindset and ability to build strong relationships
- Must love pizza!
