Boston Networks is a Managed IT Services Provider that specializes in all-inclusive technology outsourcing. We provide IT support by phone and chat, technical consulting, and security / compliance solutions.

Position
We are looking for a Full-Time Support Technician that will be the first contact for technical support issues reported by our clients. This position requires both customer service skills as well as technical skills. Both are equally as important

The primary responsibilities of the technician will be responding to tickets by contacting customers, gaining knowledge of the problem, and working with customer to resolve.
Detailed documentation will be required throughout the lifecycle of the ticket, as well as ownership and responsibility for seeing it through to completion.
Additional responsibilities are:

- Setting up new computers
- Traveling onsite for setups/repairs
- Completing certifications and training to advance knowledge and skillset

Preferred Experience
Experience at another MSP (Managed Service Provider) is a plus

Experience with the following is a plus
- Firewalls/Routers
- Google Workplace Administration
- Sharepoint/Teams Administation
- Ethernet crimping/testing
- Ticketing Systems – Connectwise/Continuum

Other Requirements
Attention to detail, organization, punctuality, and most importantly professionalism over the phone
Must have a working car and a valid driver’s license
Must have a working telephone
Must be able to pass a criminal background check
Must be authorized to work in the US

Must be able to work on a ladder and lift 50 pounds
