Future Tech Enterprise, Inc. is looking to hire a Technician who will provide computer installation, maintenance, and support services.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide hands-on technical support to all staff and administrators
• PC and hardware support including desktop & notebook computers, Apple iPads, Promethean interactive whiteboards, projectors, printers, telephones, etc.
• Provide resolution and assistance to standard supported applications: MS Office, browser programs, antivirus and other supported proprietary applications and systems
• Monitor and follow up calls in ticketing queue
• Provide support for hardware/software issues in-person
• Follow up on closed tickets to ensure customer satisfaction
• Network access troubleshooting and repair including wireless
• Confirm printer / shared storage / application access
• Computer imaging
• Transporting old and new machines between the technology office and other buildings
• Log and update all calls into ticketing system
• Ability to establish, nurture, and maintain a strong interpersonal relationship with end-users

Requirements include:

• A+ certification or equivalent work experience
• Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products
• 1-2 years experience in hardware and software support
• Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Readiness to learn and adapt
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10
• Strong knowledge of Apple iOS
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software problems
• Experience in K-12 or higher education field a plus
• Knowledge of computer networking is a plus
