Position requested:

· Direct Support Professional for adults and children with IDD (intellectual and developmental disabilities) diagnoses

· Services may be home, community, or facility based.

Duties:

· Maintain safety and supervision of participants

· Support the personal, emotional, and behavioral health of participants

· Assist participants with personal care and other needs

· Support activities of daily living

· Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

· Applicants must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma

· Current certification in First Aid and CPR or attend training provided by employer

· Water safety certification a plus

· Must be able to traverse uneven grounds

· Ability to lift at least 50 lbs

Key Skills:

· Must demonstrate oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

· Must be well organized, detail oriented, and able to maintain confidentiality

· Applicant must be flexible and able to work in a team atmosphere

Pay:

· Starting rate of pay is currently $15 per hour which includes the employee's regular rate of pay and a COVID-19 pay differential.
