Job Summary
Reporting to the Vice President for Clinical and Administrative Services, provides clinical and managerial oversight as the Director for Cardiology, Pulmonary Medicine and Rehabilitation, Neurology, Respiratory, and Sleep Lab departments.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education
- Graduate of a Respiratory Therapy (RT) program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) required.
- Master’s degree in business, public health, health administration strongly preferred.
- Evidence of continuing education in management required.
- Experience
- 5 to 7 years RT experience required.
- Five years of demonstrated leadership management experience in a clinical environment required.
- Licensure and/or Certification
- Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required.
- RRT from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) required.
- BLS healthcare provider required.
- NPR certification required within 6 months of hire.
- Skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills needed.
- Effective leadership skills required.
- Strong business acumen including financial management, strategic planning, and business development.
- Problem-solving and analytical ability.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Computer skills required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
