TOPS Software is looking for a Director of Product to join our team!

TOPS is accelerating our offerings to take advantage of the tremendous opportunity in our target vertical and beyond. We need an accomplished go to market product leader with extensive experience building out and operating a SaaS software product with payment capabilities at it’s core. As our Director of Product, you will build a product infrastructure, take payments products to market and build a high performing product team while being hands on as the organization scales. This role is remote eligible with preference to applicants in Tampa, Knoxville, and Atlanta.

What you will do*

• Define and lead the formal Product Development Process and own full accountability for bringing the Payments Product organization to life.
• Develop go-to-market roadmap, creation of sales and marketing materials, craft compelling use cases, and capture feedback to incorporate into additional products and enhancements.
• Attract, hire, train, and retain a team of world-class product professionals
• Maintain effective working relationships with Sales, Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Customer Success Teams.

Ideal candidate profile*

• Required: 3+ years of experience as a Product leader within the SaaS industry
• Preferred: ERP, FinTech, and PayFac background
• Preferred: people management experience
• Proven current experience working in a fast paced, payments (or payments adjacent) organization with go-to-market success
• Ability to demonstrate strong business and payments acumen
• Strong Product leadership and PDLC experience in a successful company where you have owned Product start to finish
• Demonstrate a “customer first” attitude. Have the passion and ability to interact with customers and get the “voice of the customer” feedback
• Proven ability to recruit, lead, and scale a high performing product team
• A willingness to go deep into execution when necessary, while being agile and able to adapt in a fast-paced dynamic business
• Detail-oriented, process-driven as well as analytical and data driven – uses a test, measure, learn, adapt framework
