Position Summary

The Resident Services Manager ensures that residents, guests and staff experience exceptional customer service by providing a welcoming environment and the highest level of service possible; Oversees Front Desk programs and manages staff in the areas of Reception, Security, Concierge, Activites and Transportation; Ensures the consistent application of standards and policies to provide a safe and secure, yet friendly environment for residents, guests and staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Overall responsibilities

  • Manage performance of team members in the areas of Reception, Security, Concierge, Activities and Transportation
  • Support and participate in all aspects of Front Desk services
  • Ensure that Reception staff are providing residents, guests and staff with friendly, helpful, efficient service and anticipating the needs of residents when possible
  • Manage transportation services for residents, mindful of their comfort, security and safety
  • Review and participate in daily security rounds, observant of any issues which may be a threat or concern for safety of either residents or staff, both of property and of person
  • Respond to all aspects of security needs including fire alarms, apartment emergency calls, staff emergency calls, and 911 calls
  • Available for contact by staff at all times (24 hours a day/7 days a week)
  • Participate and is active in Life Safety protocols and training
  • Maintain current security reports and required documentation for emergency evacuations
  • Review daily guard reports, evaluate for needed action, and reports to Executive Management issues of importance
  • Maintains and monitors department budget and is cost conscience
  • Coordinates with Executive Management for major repairs and maintenance of vehicles
  • Assure vehicles are properly maintained and in good working/safety order
  • Hire, onboard, and train staff in the areas of Reception, Security, Concierge and Transportation
  • Process payroll, manage schedules for assigned employee groups
  • Perform other administrative and reporting duties as required
