Lifesteps, a local human services organization, is currently seeking a full-time Disability Instructor / Program Specialist to work at the Adult Day Program in Eighty Four, PA, near Washington, PA.

This full-time position is both Administrative in nature and Hands-on with Individuals at the Adult Training Facility.
The Disability Instructor / Program Specialist is responsible for the development, implementation, and monitoring of Individual Support Plan (ISP) outcomes for the adult clients who have disabilities in the program. The position also creates and implements interactive lessons for clients, thereby being an Instructor in the classroom setting. Plus, the role may take clients on outings in the community and support their needs when away from the program.

This position works 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with weekends off.

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree with minimum of 4 years experience working with persons with disabilities, OR
• Bachelors Degree with minimum of 2 years experience working with persons with disabilities, OR
• Masters Degree with minimum of 1 year experience working with persons with disabilities
• Valid Drivers License, Auto Insurance, and Ability to lift up to 200 lbs. with assistance required
• Ability to provide acceptable clearances
