JOB SUMMARY:

We're seeking a responsibleDistribution Associate to assist the Distribution Team with daily functions that will support many facets of the company. As part of the Distribution Team, you will work closely with the quality control and shipping teams. You will receive customer orders, locate purchased items and pack them for shipment. The ideal candidate will have strong multitasking and organizational skills, as you will deal with a high volume of merchandise. To be successful in this role, you will need to be punctual, organized, meticulous, flexible, open to change, proficient in time management and computer savvy. This is a full-time hourly position.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for tagging, labeling, and distributing merchandise
  • Help sort by correctly labeling and stockpiling merchandise according to size, shape, and type
  • Assist in boxing, wrapping, and packing the merchandise in accordance with relevant procedures and standards
  • Prepare all orders for shipment
  • Maintain quality control by recording and managing all impaired or damaged merchandise item(s)
  • Organize stocks and maintain inventory
  • Organize warehouse space
  • Check, verify, and fill invoices
  • Perform clerical duties
  • Perform other duties assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Fast-learner and able to work under pressure
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently
  • Ability to communicate effectively and ask for assistance when needed
  • Knowledge and practical experience with inventory management procedures
  • Effective multitasking and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication in English (reading, writing, and verbal)
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent; preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of work-related experience; preferred
  • Hands-on experience with inventory and logistics software programs
  • Experience in a legal cannabis market highly; preferred
  • State Law requires that applicants be 21 years old and over

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities
  • Be able to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time. Ability to occasionally bend, kneel, squat, and twist
  • Comfortable working in a Distribution environment
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.04 - $18.00 per hour
