The Distribution Center (DC) Associate I is an essential support role within Safelite’s supply chain function. This associate partners with other team members to perform daily shipping and receiving efforts while also processing wholesale and retail inventory deliveries to Safelite AutoGlass locations and other vehicle glass retailers. The work you do helps get the right products to the right places at the right time to help our retail partners take care of our customers.

• Shift: 3pm - 1:30am (typically a 4 day work week depending on the needs of the business)
• Competitive pay starting at $18/hour + $1.50/hr for 2nd shift premium.

What You’ll Do

• Build pallets for daily use in distribution center.
• Performs pallet teardown and recycle functions; operates waste compactor.
• Open pallets of glass in replenishing areas for pickers.
• Prepare pallets for shipping to ensure glass is safely packed to reduce breakage.
• Assemble items from various components.
• Audit glass to verify accuracy of order pickers.
• Maintain safe and clean work environment.
• All other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Commitment to punctuality and attendance to support your teammates.
• Resilience to work in a variety of environmental conditions such as seasonal heat or cold and standing for long periods of time.
• Repeatedly lift 35 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• MHE experience a plus, but not required.
• Willingness to support other functional areas of the distribution center as needed.
• A great attitude with a service mindset.

Pay: $19.50 per hour
