Shoes For Crews, LLC (SFC) is a dynamic designer, manufacturer and business-to-business marketer of the most technologically advanced, top-rated slip-resistant footwear for the foodservice, hospitality, industrial, and healthcare workplaces. We are looking for a Specialist to assist in overseeing the inbound and outbound operations of our 3rd party distribution centers, monitor inventory and analyze requirements that would help achieve Gold Standard customer service, desired delivery times and order fill rates. This position reports directly to the Manager, Distribution and Logistics and requires experience and demonstrates ability to work across departmental lines to complete tasks in the most efficient manner. Exceptional initiative is crucial to this role, strong interpersonal capabilities, and the ability to meet productivity and quality requirements will be necessary.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Inbound

  • Generate ASN?s for material receipt
  • Review domestic inbound deliveries to distribution centers
  • Compile daily FTP files to check completed inbound shipments
  • Process inbound receipts / update inventory
  • Run backorder process once inventory has been updated
  • Assist Finance in close of month tasks

Inventory

  • Monitor and report warehouse cycle counts
  • Research no stocks and perform inventory adjustments
  • Periodically ensure SKU settings are correct
  • Monitor warehouse packaging supply inventory

Outbound

  • Manage and resolve daily service issues, failures, or delays
  • Manage special account shipping requirements
  • Run daily specified reports to ensure DCs are meeting SLAs
  • Ensure every order is accounted for and track key critical or time sensitive domestic or international orders to completion.
  • Assist with Canada duty drawback and cross border reports
  • Drive the duty drawback process
  • Performs related / additional duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or Business, or 3 to 5 years? experience in supply chain logistics/transportation/shipping/ warehouse operations.
  • Ability to follow and comply with all DOT, Federal, and State Safety regulations
  • International and domestic operational experience preferred (basic understanding of international transport/roles of parties involved/modes of transportation/issues & challenges, etc.) for both inbound and outbound operations
  • Strong computer skills with working knowledge of MS Office Software and Netsuite or other MRP.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 per year
