This Position is based out of Enfield, Ct. - 19 Depot Hill Road

The Driver-Merchandiser Helper/Driver Trainee is responsible for assisting our driver merchandisers with delivering products to NEIC customers safely, timely, and professionally. The merchandiser helper is also responsible for setting up products neatly in coolers and freezers. This position would train with a driver and ideally transition into a driver position after gaining experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Stock coolers and freezers in an orderly manner. Follow Plan-o-grams as needed.
• Interact professionally with customers.
• Adhere to all professional appearance requirements (uniform, footwear, etc.).
• Monitor foreign products, the general appearance, and the cleanliness of cooler and freezer equipment.
• Effectively communicate order/customer issues to supervisor at the time of delivery.
• Unload any returns and ensure the proper information on each return and communicate at the time of settlement.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Skills/Qualifications

• Driving experience required.
• Merchandising experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Ability to professionally communicate with customers.
• Pay starts at $17/hour
