Position Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED is required. CDA/Associate degree or higher is preferred.
1+ year of professional teaching experience preferred. At least six months of professional teaching experience required.
Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices, The Creative Curriculum, ITERS, and NJ Early Learning Standards.
Must meet state specific guidelines for the role.
Compensation: $14-17 per hour depending on experience and education.

Role Responsibilities:
Create a safe, nurturing, welcoming, engaging classroom space for infants to learn, play and grow.
Verbally engage infants throughout the day in addition to incorporating play activities.
Supervise infants on the floor as they play with age-appropriate toys, as well as in cribs for nap time.
Ensure play, sleep and changing areas are kept clean.
Implement our curriculum, The Creative Curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
Communicate regularly with parents.
Build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
