Summary:
OWCAP is seeking individuals who are detail-oriented, collaborative and people-focused to oversee the effective classroom operations of assigned sites to ensure compliance with program performance standards and other applicable regulations. Supervises Teachers and Teacher Assistants at assigned sites to ensure compliance with OWCAP policies and procedures. Establish and maintain relationships with partners at assigned sites.

Starting Pay Range – $23.57 - $26.71
What you will do as our Education Supervisor:
- Supervise and mentor teaching staff
- Monitor best practice and ensure compliance with Head Start Performance Standards
- Establish and maintain relationships with assigned partners
- Address parent concerns
- Utilize computer systems to monitor and track data to ensure compliance
- Review documentation and reports
- Conduct team meetings
- Collaborate with the education team
- Develop, conduct and lead trainings
- Participate in the interview process in collaboration with the Human Resource team
- Support our School Readiness initiatives
What you need to be our Education Supervisor:
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with early childhood courses as determined by Head Start Act
- Four years’ experience in the aforementioned area
- Minimum of two years in a supervisory role preferred; direct supervision responsibilities preferred
- CLASS Observer and Training Strategies Fidelity required post-hire
