Murphy Electric & Industrial Control is currently seeking a full-time Electrical CAD Designer to join the team. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and exceptional communication skills. Applicants must have the ability to read blueprints and prepare drawings using systems such as AutoCAD and Revit (BIM). Union electrician experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Gather and read blueprints to prepare precise electrical drawings for multiple jobs at a time.
• Communicate with project managers, foremen, general contractors, and other subcontractors.
• Take direction from coordination meetings.

Qualifications

• AutoCAD Experience (1 Year Preferred)
• Revit BIM Experience (1 Year Preferred)
• Navisworks Experience
• MEP Experience
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Great organizational skills.

Additional:

• This job requires the employee to be in-office.
• Any out-of-state applicants must be willing to relocate.
• Salaries for union electricians will be the union rate.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
