Iris Technology is looking for an ambitious candidate to fill the roll of Entery Level Accounting Assistant.

This roll would report directly to the Controller. The ideal candidate would have a couple of years of experience in an office environment and have the desire to grow and learn within an accounting roll. This candidate should be passionate, curious, innovative and driven.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years in an office environment
• Some account experience prefered
• Excellent organizational skills
• The ability to successfully multitask
• Must be able to work both independently and as a team contributor
• Strong communication skills
• This is a position of high trust, this candidate must pass a background check

Some responsibilities (will be trained)may include but are not limited to:

• Execute accounting tasks assigned by Controller in a timely manner and with 100% accuracy
• Prepare bank deposits
• Get the mail
• Work with other departments
• Work with vendors
• Process checks
• Assist in audits
• Create invoices
• Perform basic office tasks, data entry, answering phones
• Other administrative support as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
