Mill Workers - Entry level trainee through skilled & experienced (1603646)

Daily Workflow:

» Follow direction of on-site supervisors, learn new jobs and department procedures

» Assist with mill production by handling and working with wood products

» Assist in operating various types of machinery

» Load and unload wood and other materials

» Mill Clean-up and labor

» Work independently as well as within a team, as required

» Have a can-do attitude and be ready to report to any department on short notice

» Learn about the company, ask relevant questions to further your understanding of what they do

We're Seeking people who have the:

» Ability to comfortably stand and walk for the duration of your entire shift.

» Ability to comfortably sit for the duration of your entire shift.

» Ability to stand and walk on concrete and other hard surfaces as well as uneven surfaces

» Ability to climb stairs as well as go down stairs, step in and up as well as down and out of things

» Ability to lift, bend and twist easily and frequently while working and be physically fit

» Ability to reach up, crouch and squat down, look under or reach out as well as push and pull

» Ability to watch and listen for forklifts and other fast moving machinery and vehicles

» Ability to move out of the way quickly when needed as well as move quickly within a given job duty

» Ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a good work ethic

» Ability to pass a drug test (THC is ok) and a criminal background check (some convictions are acceptable)

» Ability to work and day and any shift without notice

Schedule:

7 days per week ' the mill operates.

» Day Shift 7am-3pm

» Swing Shift 3pm-11pm

» Grave Shift 11pm-7am
