Full Time, Monday-Friday 5:30AM- 2:30PM

What You Will Do
As an Environmental Services Attendant, you will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing resident rooms and bathing areas, creating an environment for the health, comfort and well-being of residents residing at the ministry.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and follow cleaning schedule and instructions
• Participate in creating and maintaining a clean, sanitary property free from odor, debris and clutter
• Perform cleaning and sanitizing procedures for resident rooms and floors
• Restock room supplies
• Report maintenance needs observed (i.e. burned out light bulbs)
• Assume responsibility for providing a safe environment by the proper use of caution signs, proper chemical use and storage, reporting hazardous situations and broken equipment, proper use of equipment and supplies and knowledge of fire and disaster procedures
• Assure compliance with infection control, personal protection equipment, blood borne pathogens, hazardous materials handling and fire safety standards
• Other duties as assigned

Preferred Education/Experience

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience operating low speed and/or high-speed buffers
