Onebridge is a Consulting firm with an HQ in Indianapolis, and clients dispersed throughout the United States and beyond. We have an exciting opportunity for an EPIC Healthcare Data Analyst to join one of our clients on a contract basis.
This role is a remote role operating on EST. Candidates local to Indianapolis, IN, or regional to the Midwest will be given preference.
EPIC Healthcare Data Analyst | About You
As an EPIC Healthcare Data Analyst, you are responsible for identifying, profiling, and mapping data in a meaningful way across the client's enterprise data landscape. You will primarily look at the viability and feasibility of requests and perform triage and investigations to determine the best recommendation. You enjoy working with SQL and relational databases and want to grow your data skillset with technology. You learn best through discovery and can create definitions and understanding amid ambiguous requirements. You are collaborative, cooperative, and team-oriented.
EPIC Healthcare Data Analyst | Day-to-Day
- Respond to and own data, analytics, and BI demand items, from intake of problems and requests through to resolution or submission into development and delivery.
- Perform data analysis and data management using statistical packages.
- Identify data requirements and build solutions that leverage enterprise data assets.
- Discover and analyze data and integrations to provide meaning, context, and proper use cases for data collection, analysis, and consumption.
- Perform gap analysis, validations, data QA and UAT to ensure acceptance criteria and solutions outcomes are correctly and timely promoted to production.
- Conduct root cause analysis related to production support and project requests.
- Design and build prototypes of recommended solutions or resolve quick hit-fix opportunities.
- Contribute content and support the ongoing development of the data catalog.
EPIC Healthcare Data Analyst | Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Business Relationship Manager engaging with data customers.
- Strong understanding of healthcare data and workflows using EPIC software is required.
- Highly skilled in qualitative data collection, data analysis, reporting, and survey methodology.
- Experience using SAS, R, SQL, or other quantitative statistical software to analyze and profile data in relational databases.
- Background in using statistical packages such as generating tables, graphs, and PowerPoint for data analysis and management.
- Ability to generate solutions and troubleshoot problems related to Excel, Tableau and Power BI reports scorecards and dashboards.
EPIC Healthcare Data Analyst | Bonus Skills
- Skilled in Alteryx and Azure data platform services is preferred.
- Epic Software Certification.
- Expertise with a Data Visualization tool (Power BI and/or Tableau).
