Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring all evaluation scheduled dates, reports and required documents are obtained in a timely manner.
• Conducts data entry and documentation for all activities within the life of case
• Processes all received reports and documents
• Communicate with families, school districts, and counties in regards to evaluation status
• Maintains Evaluation meeting calendar ensuring representatives are assigned to all meetings
• Works with the Billing department to ensure timely payment for all evaluators.
• Ensures all submitted Early Intervention packets have a follow-up call conducted as per state expectation
• Maintains good relationships with school districts, evaluators and counties
• Works efficiently to meet departmental goals and compliance deadlines
• Utilizes various programs and databases to monitor responsibilities efficiently.
• Follows up with families, school districts and pediatrician's offices to obtain medical forms
• Assists with staffing received referrals as needed
• Provide coverage within the department as needed
• Reception Coverage as needed
• Other duties as assigned by the manager

The Evaluation Coordinator is responsible for following up with all evaluators to confirm evaluations took place and reports and paperwork are submitted in a timely manner. The Evaluations Coordinator is responsible for prioritizing cases in order to meet deadlines, goals, and timely submission of packets. The Evaluation Coordinator ensures that parents are receiving evaluation packets and received an understanding of the MDE results. Thisis afull-time position,Monday to Friday 09:00 AM to 5:30PM.

Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time up to 90% of the work day working on a computer/electronic device.
• The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
• Must be able to communicate on the phone for prolonged periods of time.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Bilingual Spanish/English a plus
• Can multi-task and meet multiple deadlines.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office

Physical Requirements:

• Occasionally ascends/descends stairs going to, while at, or leaving work location or facilities traveled to for work events.
• Occasionally moving and/or lifting objects at work weighing up to 20 pounds such as files or copy paper.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time up to 90% of the work day working on a computer/electronic device.
• The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
• The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

Hourly Rate: $19-$20
