The Indianapolis Colts are seeking a highly motivated individual to fill a full-time Events Coordinator position within a fast-paced and team-oriented environment that is committed to excellence and efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Events Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Events Manager in developing and executing events, including gameday, that support the team’s overall business objectives. In coordination with department team members, the Events Coordinator will:

Oversee the planning, execution and promotion for events and programs. Including and not limited to NFL Draft Programming, Colts In Motion, Summer Tour, Training Camp, Touchdown Town, Blue Friday’s, eSports, Halloween Party, etc.
o Colts In Motion
o Summer Tours
o Touchdown Town
o Blue Fridays

Support in the planning and execution of all Colts tentpole events, including but not limited to:
o NFL Draft
o Training Camp
o Colts 5K
o Colts Kickoff Luncheon
o Kickoff Concert
o Kids Halloween Party
o Manage www.colts.com Events Page updates, as well as specific event pages
o Manage calendar updates (www.colts.com, internal Marketing)
o Manage all inflatables and Colts Helmet requests
o Coordinate Register To Win Fulfillment for various programs and events
o Oversee regular maintenance and manage various event equipment inventory
o Assist with management of Marketing Vehicles
o Handle administrative tasks for the Events Department (misc. phone calls, inventory, emails, etc.)
o Other duties as assigned
o Blue Fridays
QUALIFICATIONS

o 4-year degree in Sports Marketing, Communications, Marketing or a related field
o One to two years of experience in event management, marketing in the sports industry preferred
o Strong verbal communication skills
o Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
o Ability to multi-task and think quickly on one's feet using independent judgement
o Ability to think creatively and innovatively
o Knowledge of social and digital media strategies
o Ability to lift and move heavy items, work outside in all elements if necessary
o Available to work nights and weekends
