Job description
- 2+ years of senior level leadership support, or 1+ years of Amazon experience
- High school or equivalent diploma
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
The Operations People eXperience & Tech (PXT) organization is looking for an Executive Assistant who wants to work in a fast-paced, exciting, and growing organization. We are looking for someone to support two Directors on our Global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (GDEI) team in Seattle, WA
The Global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (GDEI) team is looking for an Executive Assistant who will have the opportunity to work in partnership with multiple stakeholders, a solid team of GDEI professionals, and key business partners across multiple regions.
The GDEI team builds global programs to support diverse communities across Amazon. Our programs are internal focused on education, professional development, mentorship, and mobility and external focused on strategic partnerships with non-profits and community engagement. These measures and actions drive us towards one common theme: increasing diverse representation at Amazon
This Executive Assistant will be responsible for handling confidential information and maintaining professionalism in dealing with senior executives. Role includes managing multiple complex calendars, planning and organizing events, and coordinating domestic and international travel. This candidate will help build a positive team environment and establish working relationships inside and outside of the group.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Superior attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to complete complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to design and improve processes
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments at any given time
- High level of integrity and discretion
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $47,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
