Job Title: Facility Specialist – Maintenance
Location(s): Grand Junction, CO
Hiring Range: $18.00 - $21.00/hr. (Depending on education, experience)
Status: Full-Time
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Schedule: Monday – Friday, part of an on-call rotation
Clearance and Health Requirements:

This position has potential to grow with in our Facility Management team.
This position is not required to travel.
Primary responsibilities and essential functions:
- Providing operational and facility support to the LMS Facility Lead and LMS Facility Manager
- Providing operational and facility support LM and LMS staff at the Grand Junction, CO office
- Daily walk‐down of the facilities
- Documenting and submitting landlord and/or LMS work orders
- Build, set‐up, or move furniture, fixtures, and equipment
- Frequently working with hand tools
- Assist Fleet Management with the GSA vehicles
- Support the Emergency Management procedures for the Grand Junction office
- Shipping and receiving of parcels
- Delivery of parcels
- Operate forklift as needed
- Assist the Facility Lead in managing attic stock of fixtures, furniture, and equipment
- Perform monthly building inspections and other inspections as needed
- Interact with a diverse group of facility users; government, contractor and the general public
- Support facilities management as needed
- Support safety functions
- Maintain spreadsheets
- Perform corrective and preventative maintenance activities
- Other duties as assigned
- Experience in building construction or building systems
- Strong Communication skills
- Math and computer skills
- Experience with hand tools
- Basic knowledge of Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Valid unencumbered driver's license.
Bachelor's degree OR 8 years of related experience and a High School Diploma
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions. The employee is regularly exposed to work in high, precarious places, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock and risk of radiation and vibration. The noise level may be loud due to equipment or machinery used.
The employee exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
The employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel, to reach with hands and arms, and to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit and occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
