Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join their team as a Field Supervisor. This role is responsible for the overall management of field crews and field installation performance, analyzing and planning major installation projects, managing warehouse activities, and maintaining equipment, supplies, and vehicles within the facility.
Qualified candidates will have previous construction or project management experience, possess strong communication skills and excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities
Personnel

• Assist with recruiting, selection, hiring, and training personnel for installation crews.
• Responsible for overall management of field crews and related projects.
• Handle employee problems and process disciplinary action if necessary.
• Conduct reviews and recommend pay increases.

Field Procedures

• Standardized operating procedures and ensure all crews performance is consistent.
• Handle administrative paperwork, ensure accurate completion in a timely manner.
• Maintain customer relations.
• Ensure rules and regulations are clear, understood and enforced.

Installation Management and Field Operations

• Review work order packets and notate plans as necessary.
• Perform hands-on management of field installations.
• Adhere to schedule to ensure on-time installs and provide estimated cost and labor hours.
• Ensure paperwork is processed timely, accurately, and is documented.
• Responsible for training crews to have proper interaction with clients/vendors.
• Ensure day-to-day quality control.

Analysis, Planning and Estimating

• Responsible for analyzing, planning and estimating installation/service work.
• Review customer installation, service requirements, and understand complete scope of services requested.
• Analyze installation issues that impact cost and labor efficiency.
• Develop detailed written labor estimates and special requirements to ensure clarity.
• Communicate and collaborate with sales, design, project management, project coordinators, and sales assistants in the analysis, estimating and planning of installations.

Warehouse & Storage

• Responsible for planning and managing warehouse activities for receiving product and controlling inventory.
• Maintain warehouse facility and installation equipment, supplies, and vehicles.

Qualifications

• Previous construction or project management experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role preferred.
• Possess excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Possess strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
• Possess high level of customer service skills.
• Ability to work and adapt in a fast-paced construction team environment (both field and office) with a diverse group from trade, office personnel, managers, contractor, and subcontractors.
