We are looking for an experienced Analyst to join the accounting department, to facilitate the effective planning, analysis and control of the company’s Personnel and Overhead. The FP&A role is a multi-faceted role with a broad remit in accounting and controlling (including budgeting, forecasting and closings). Within this exciting role you will report directly to the CEO (current interim CFO) and you will work closely with different Finance teams from the parent company Pilatus Aircraft Ltd. The role requires the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines, extreme attention to detail, and consistently accurate, high quality financial analyses.

Job Duties will include

• Supporting and improving month-end closing process (quality, deadlines, guidelines, reports)
• Analysis of financial performance (e.g. deviation analysis) and recommendation of actions
• Supporting planning processes, yearly budgeting, monthly forecasts and weekly cash-forecasts
• Ensuring compliance accounting principles, corporate policies and federal requirements
• Recording financial transactions and takeover of payroll responsibilities
• Supporting finance projects and improve internal/external controls, processes, and systems

• Understanding of GAAP and applicable regulations

Education, Experience and Licensing Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field
• At least 2+ years’ experience
• Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, Powerpoint)
• CMA preferred but not required
