I. Position
Steelwood Fish Camp & Clubhouse Property Attendant

II. Job Summary
To provide Steelwood members and their guests with an excellent fishing experience and to maintain a camp that is clean and orderly while exceeding the expectations of the members and guests in relation to customer service.

III. Tasks

a. Fish Cleaning Station and rest of boathouse
1) All scales and fish scraps should be “hosed down” after each cleaning session. NOTE: Larger parts (i.e.: heads, etc.), should be bucketed and taken to “pit” after each session. All cleaning supplies (i.e.: scalers and knives) should be rinsed off and placed or stored in designated area. Boathouse should be swept out daily.

b. Deck Boat
2) Should be “blown out” daily. All seats should be wiped down and mildew remover should be applied to seats once per week. All storage areas should also be opened and wiped down or out daily. Area at Camp should be designated and labeled for all items associated with this boat (i.e.: glove for top cover).
3) Boat should be trailered once per month and cleaned (bottom).

3. Organization – All items of no use will be discarded.

4. Maintain all equipment to include:
1. Trolling motors & workboat motor
2. Batteries
3. Battery Chargers
4. Work Boat

This program will also include a preventative maintenance schedule for all equipment.

5. Camp Journal will be kept daily to post number of fish taken from Lake and number of boats that went out. ALL items concerning Camp should be posted in this daily journal. ALL complaints, suggestions and concerns are to be posted daily. Any equipment failures, etc., should be posted in this daily log. Water temperatures and water clarity readings are also to be posted. This Journal will be scanned on Mondays and posted on “Bertha”.

6. Inventories – Pars will be established for ALL inventories to include:
1. Drinks
a. Soft Drinks
b. Beer

2. Tackle
3. Paper Products
4. Batteries
5. Trolling Motors
6. All items on Daily Boat Checklist

IV. Reports to
Director of Operations

Steelwood Lake Rules
Bream/Bluegill limit is 15 per person- no size limit
Bass limit is 12 per person- over 16 inches must be released
If you are keeping fish, they must be returned one hour prior to sunset to have cleaned by attendant.
All fish caught & kept must be reported to the Fish Camp Staff for a Harvest Report
No outside food or beverage allowed.

For Club Boats Only:
Club boats are available at first light
Club boats must be re returned to the boathouse 30 minutes prior to sunset
Club boats are not allowed beyond the signs at the north end of the lake due to possible damage to trolling motors
Please do not stand in the boat while fishing
Shirts must be worn at all times
No more than 3 people in a boat at any time – weight cannot exceed 625 lbs.
Reservations required. Call 251-964-7165 by 5pm the prior day you plan to fish. The lake is closed on Tuesday.
Guests can fish no more than 6 times per calendar year.
