Job description

The River Valley Club is seeking a FITshop Attendant (Saturdays and Sundays starting asap, Mondays 3-6pm starting in December, Wednesdays 3-6pm starting in December, and Fridays all day starting in December) for the FITshop. The FITshop Attendant is responsible for delivering a high level of customer service and retail sales (RVC Swag, tennis and pickleball accessories, Lululemon apparel, and more). In addition, must be able to manage schedules for tennis professionals, as well as provide sales support for all tennis programming. Must also be able to manage dry cleaning drop-off and pick-up.

Retail:

· Reface merchandise as needed

· Use company software (ClubAutomation)

· Have a knowledge of merchandise i.e. clothing, tennis merchandise, MyZone, other available products

· Communicate knowledge with guests about products (i.e. sizing, material, and use/function)

· Up sell products when possible

· Perform cash and electronic sales

· Process returns and exchanges when applicable

· Place orders for clothing, accessories, tennis equipment and exercise equipment.

· Manage inventory, enter all items in to system and count and reconcile inventory at the end of the month

Dry Cleaning:

· Coordinate members intake, processing and pick up of dry cleaning

· Manage member clothing to process laundry services, also using tagging gun, stapler, safety pins, and numerical tags.

· Process cash and electronic payments for dry cleaning clients

· Record and track orders

Tennis/Pickleball:

· Schedule court time

· Knowledge of available programming

· Assist in registration for new and/or current members, including waivers

· Coordinate with tennis pros for scheduling

· Basic knowledge of tennis equipment i.e. string, racquets, grips, balls

· Process cash and electronic payments

· Set-up the tennis schedule in computer system

· Assist with marketing

· Communicate with tennis players regarding programs and policy changes

· Additionally: This position may be asked to assist in other areas of RVC. Cooperation is assumed. All staff members work as a team to provide superior service that RVC bases its reputation on.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
