Tom Sturgis Pretzels, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Sanitation worker.

Responsibilities include:

-Being able to work all shifts as assigned. Most work will be on 3rd shift (11PM-7:30AM) Monday-Friday.

-Work maintenance and vacation shutdowns

-Sanitation of everything on building grounds, inside or outside of building, including equipment, restrooms, furniture, etc.

-Perform environmental testing of equipment and facilities including, but not limited to, ATP testing and pathogen testing in accordance with all federal regulations.

-Work requires climbing ladders, working while on ladders, platforms, and scaffolding.

-Perform light maintenance duties as assigned.

-Maintain sanitation chemicals inventory, tools, and equipment.

-Record, document, and perform corrective actions in accordance with company policies and federal regulations.

-Help with snow and ice removal.

-Must be able to work in extreme temperatures for an extended period of time.

-Must be able to work in a very dusty environment.

-Must handle trash and recyclables properly.

-Keep current master cleaning schedule.

-Required to fill out report, write notes, make drawings, and fill out logbooks in a legible and complete manner.

Experience required: Must have prior experience in a food environment and have basic knowledge of food safety procedures and requirements.
