Food Service Worker/Dishwasher- Kaiser Hospital
Pay Rate- $15.75 hr
The Food Server performs a variety of tasks in preparing, transporting, and serving food to patients, staff and visitors. Follows standardized recipes and demonstrates proper portioning to prevent waste and assure high-quality products. Sets up workstation in a timely manner and restocks supplies and equipment as necessary. Uses proper chemicals and temperatures in sanitizing trays, dishes, utensils and equipment. Responsible for washing and transporting dishes to service area for use.

Responsible for proper cleaning and handling of all commercial kitchen dishes, pots and pans and utensils

Clean and organize dishes

Will be cleaning and polishing counters as well as mop and sweep floors in the kitchen areas

Will be cleaning up spilled food and ensure that floors and counter surfaces are sanitized

Clean and sanitize tables for cafe patrons

Will be responsible for throwing out the kitchen garbage can and disposing of all spoiled or expired food in refrigerators
