Forklift Operator - Rotating Shifts

• 7 days on 1st (6:30-2:30) shift followed by 4 days off 7 days on 2nd shift (2:30-10:30) followed by 3 days off

7 days on 3rd shift (10:30-6:30) followed by 1 day off

Pay Range: $21.00 starting and after 90 days $25.67 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

Under close supervision, performs routine logistics operations activities, including: moving and storing materials/products using a combination of manual labor and low complexity machinery/equipment (e.g., forklifts and conveyors); receiving/inspecting goods and verifying items against the shipment record; gathering, verifying, and packing items for shipment according to specifications and the applicable transportation method; and/or recording received and shipped items.

• Safely moving materials in warehouse, to include storing, stacking and documentation.
• Load or unload shipments in delivery trucks.
• Prepares orders by processing requests (PC usage required) and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
• Label and stockpile shipments according to size, shape, and type.
• Promotes clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Record and manage all impaired or damaged merchandise items.
• Completes reports by entering required information.
• Routine quality checks on finished products.
• Provides quality service by following organization standards.
• Follow safety regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills

• Ability to work safe in a team environment.
• Has good judgement, initiative, and ability to carry out assignments with minimal direct supervision.
• Willingness to stand and/or be on feet for up to 12+ hours per day
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. as needed.
• Must be able to go up and down on ladders, steps, or other lifts as necessary.
• Must be able to work in poor weather and/or unregulated temperatures 12+ hours/day.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and call-in rotations during 24/7 per week operations.

Education and Experience

• Typically possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent).
• Minimum of 1yr Forklift Experience is required
• 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
