Summary:
Our office is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic front-office receptionist to join our team! This includes answering phones, check-in and out as well as financial counseling. We are a great company looking for people who want to be a part of a team long-term.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Checking patients in and out
- Scheduling and confirming patients’ appointments
- Entering demographics
- Updating medical records
- Scanning and faxing patients’ records
- Verifying insurances.
- Answering phones.
- Collecting co-pays and patient balances etc.
- Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong leadership qualities
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Education/Experience:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
- Previous experience in healthcare or medical fields
- Experience in a medical customer service
- One year of experience in a medical office setting (Preferred)
- Computer/EMR knowledge & Medical terminology. (Preferred)
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift to 10 pounds at times.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
