Specialty Pharmacy Technician

• Handling the prescriptions from the start until it moves to the fulfillment dept.
• Working in all the ques and will be cross trained.
• Handling the welcome calls, intake start of prescription, to inputs, to working the phones, to "dropping" or refilling prescription, manual resolutions, calling to clarify a prescription, handle transfers from other Walmart retail stores.
• Will be handling phone calls- inbound and outbound. In this role you will touch all parts of the front end pharmacy.

Job Description

• Ensures fulfillment of pharmacy prescriptions by inputting patient information into Walmart pharmacy systems; obtaining refill clarification and authorization; identifying and selecting pharmaceutical product and quantity for prescription orders.

• Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy; and applying these in executing business processes and practices.

• Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress and information; determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback.

Shift Hours: Training will be for the three weeks and it will be from 9AM- 6PM . After training, the hours will be 12PM-9PM. Must be able to work both shifts.

Pay: $18/hr

Contract-to-hire Position.
