At Chick-fil-A, Shift Leaders are responsible for assisting the management team in all aspects of shift management and ensuring that each restaurant guest has an outstanding experience. Shift Leaders are responsible for supervising assigned stations for an entire shift and may be assigned to open or close the restaurant.

Responsibilities include:

• Oversee the daily operation of team members, this included breaks, shift changes, cash management.
• Maintain a positive working relationship and treat all employees with respect while providing them

with direction and feedback.

. Communicate employee performance and policy/procedure violations to management for

appropriate handling.

• Ensure Team Members follow Chick-fil-A recipes and procedures.
• Ensure orders are prepared accurately.
• Ensure that Team Members work at a pace to maintain restaurant’s established speed of service

guidelines.

• Monitor quality of products and services produced.
• Adjust daily schedule for shift personnel to ensure optimal efficiency.
• Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies.
• . Ensure that workstations are clean at all times.
• Maintain health and food safety standards.
• Follow local & state labor laws
• . Strictly adhere to all Company policies and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS

• . Minimum of 2 years restaurant experience necessary. ServSafe Certification preferred.
• . Perform facility opening and closing procedures.
• You will be required to demonstrate a high level of professionalism, with excellent communication skills.
• You must have the ability to take initiative and possess skills for problem solving and conflict resolution.
• You also must be efficient and detail-oriented with a strong customer focus.
• Work at least 30 hours a week
• Must have flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Lead 15-20 people simultaneously
• Be servant-hearted and humble, must be coachable and willing to learn
• Lead and assist in operations in such a way to effectively meet established labor cost, food cost and customer service metric goals
• Must be 18 years or older
