Edwards Center is a non-profit organization that prides itself on providing outstanding support to adults with intellectual disabilities. Assist our clients in developing independent living skills in residential, employment, classroom and recreational settings. We’re always looking for caring, dedicated people.

Experience / Qualifications: Previous experience is certainly helpful, but not required to work with Edwards Center. We provide paid training that begins before you’re assigned to a position, and which continues during employment. We also have a mentorship program which provides comprehensive leadership for those interested in growth, professional development and possible advancement.

Locations: We have worksites in Beaverton, Aloha, Hillsboro, Milwaukie, Clackamas, Oak Grove, Gladstone and Oregon City.

Schedules: Edwards Center provides services 24 hours a day so schedules can range anywhere from Monday – Friday day and swing hours to overnight, weekend and block shifts. Schedules are typically student-friendly and fit easily with other employment. Consolidated 18 hour and 36 hour block shifts are full time, but provide as many days off per week as a typical part time schedule would. Although the vast majority of shifts are full-time with benefits, part-time and relief shifts are also available. The relief role provides what’s essentially a paid working tour of the agency, allowing new hires a hand in navigating their employment experience and the ability to participate in their own placement.
