NAS Commissary - Jacksonville, FL

Part-Time: $15/Hour

Job Description: Access customer orders via a DeCA-provided computer system. Pull appropriate items and bring to the staging area.

Responsibilities and duties of this position include but are not limited to:

Essential Functions:

• Access customer orders via a CAC-enabled, DeCA-provided computer system at the commissary.
• Pull appropriate items from commissary shelves and place in separate baskets for each order.
• May pick up to six orders at one time.
• Bring cart with completed orders to the specified location.
• Consolidate items picked by other fulfillment workers for same order.
• Perform quality assurance visual inspection of items picked.
• Ensure the order is properly identified with the customer's name and order number.
• Ensure that the order is complete.
• Bag all items and place them in the designated storage area, grouped by order number.
• Observe all safety rules and regulations.
• Maintain a safe and orderly work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to read and pick items on customer order list.
• Ability to locate items in the store, move to a specified staging location, perform visual quality insurance inspection, and bag up order, marking with customer name and order number.
• Ability to understand the general layout of the store and locate items in the customer's order.
• Must have experience using computers or ability to train using the provided computer system assigned to you.
• Ability to function in a military setting.
• Must pass a FEDERAL AND SECURITY CLEARANCE background check to be able to receive a CAC (Common Access Card).
• Ability to lift and maneuver larger grocery items up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to pushcart filled with items from order.
• Ability to stand, squat, bend, twist, crawl, kneel, climb, reach above shoulders.
• Ability to maintain continuous walking, standing, bending, or stooping for extended periods of time.
• Sight required to visually read customer order and pull items from shelves.
• Ability to work in an environment with dust.
