Gas Engineer CO-OP - VUT00648

Center Point Energy is looking for an Engineer Co-Op to join our Team, located in Evansville, IN.

You will have the ability to represent Indiana Gas Engineering by assisting engineers with a variety of projects. Co-op students will work alternating semesters with a minimum of two terms, preferably three, in which only one can include a summer term. Further summer terms will require the approval of the hiring manager and recruiter.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Assist designers in project design activities
• Research the status of various public improvement projects
• Update Access databases and Excel spreadsheets concerning project status.
• Provide project completion data for public improvement projects.

Your background includes:

• Sophomore, Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial, Civil or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Requires no prior related work experience.
• Able to work 40 hours during Spring or Fall Semester.
