Classification Title –

Foreman – Labor III – Hourly, Seasonal

Job Description –

As a Foreman, you will typically perform skilled labor in areas such as concrete work, excavation, framing, and operator duties. You will participate in weekly safety meetings and oversee the Labor I and Labor II positions. You will report directly to the project superintendent and will work closely with the skilled labor superintendents to ensure the job runs smoothly and safely and results in quality work.

This position is 40 hours a week, typically on a schedule of 10 hours per day Mon-Thurs with occasional overtime. Schedules are project dependent and may require occasional travel around Montana and neighboring states.

Construction Type: Small Utilities, Excavation, Commercial, Selective and Total Structure Demolition, Design-Build Project Delivery, Renovation, Carpentry, Concrete work, Asphalt paving, Certified Epoxy Liner Install, Government Contracts. This is not an exhaustive list.

Minimum Qualifications –

· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a skilled labor position – concrete finisher, carpenter, operator etc.

· Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience directly managing people.

· Must be able to obtain a Malmstrom AFB pass – employment dependent on passing a background check and a pre-employment drug test.

· Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in variable weather conditions and extreme temperatures.

· Must be able to work in a noisy environment.

· Endurance and ability to visit job site, including stairs or other elevated structures.

· This position is very active and requires employees to frequently stand or sit for long periods of time. Regularly required to walk, kneel, stoop, crouch, reach, lift, carry, push, and pull.

· Vision abilities are required for driving which include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Pay: $17.00 - $41.00 per hour
