PowerSecure is seeking a General Laborer who will drive the company box truck and ensure material is delivered. General Laborer will also be responsible for recycling and trash removed from the work sites.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass a company background check, GSA background check, and a drug test.
• Minimum one year of experience as a general laborer.
• Must be willing and able to travel 75-85%+ as required (driving company vehicle and/or fly commercially if necessary)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Must be punctual, organized, and professional.
• Knowledge of construction process.
• Knowledge of using hand tools safely and proper.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.

Essential Functions

• Maintain safe and healthy work sites by following company standards and procedures while complying with legal requirements.
• Proficiently learn all aspects of the installation.
• Properly communicate with Senior Staff to ensure each task is completed safely and in a timely manner.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to drive company vehicle (including a box truck).
• Must be able to stand or walk for 3-4 hours at a time.

Work Environment

• Exposure to weather in varying climates.
• Exposure to noise intensity levels.
• Exposure to energized electrical equipment.
• Exposure to overhead hazards (crane & rigging).
• Exposure to heavy machinery.
