Kyle’s Kitchen is an award winning, socially responsible restaurant chain in the Santa Barbara, CA area. Inspired by the owner’s son Kyle, who was born with special needs, Kyle’s Kitchen donates a portion of sales to help people with special needs reach their potential.
Aside from Kyle’s giving back business model, Kyle’s Kitchen is well renowned for its great burgers, chicken sandwiches and salads. We bake our buns fresh daily from our commissary, use only the best quality ingredients, and do so all in a value oriented manner.
As Kyle’s Kitchen and it’s corresponding brands continue to grow, we are looking for a General Managers for our growing brand of restaurants.
The role:
- Lead, manage and operate your restaurant as if you are the owner
- Integrate company values and culture into your team and customer experience
- Hands on “unit producing” manager with an on-the-floor, staff development focus
- Hub of all personnel responsibilities: scheduling, time-off, call outs, hiring, termination
- Financial responsibilities; Daily labor budgets and reports, sales, invoice approval. Weekly sales, inventory, labor, COGS reporting. - Monthly P&L review
- Daily utilization of various technology solutions, including POS, scheduling, ordering, inventory management, spreadsheets
- General understanding of information technology (IT), repairs and maintenance of equipment
- Weekly team meetings

Experience requirements:
- Must have previous experience as an Assistant Manager or General Manager in the restaurant industry
- Have 3+ years of experience in the restaurant industry

Pay: $62500 - $80000 / year
