We offer advancement opportunities and steady work. This facility operates five days a week with potential for overtime and produces smoked sausage and hot dogs.
Starting Pay up to $20.20* per hour
With a $1.00 increase at 6 months and another $1.00 increase at one (1) year. The minimum hourly rate at one (1) year is $22.55* per hour with yearly increases.
- Varies depending on position and grade level
Work Shift: Monday - Friday
1st Shift (weekends and overtime as needed)
2nd Shift (weekends and overtime as needed)
3rd Shift (weekends and overtime as needed)
Position Description:
Applicants will be considered for any general production type opening on the shift designated in the posting, such as day, evening, or night shift.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This position may require you to make or pack product in boxes and or onto pallets, to remove product from racks or place product on racks, in a high frequency, fast paced environment
- This position may count, weigh or document product counts and or times
- Perform any other work as assigned by supervisor
- Perform general housekeeping duties in the department
- Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF Requirements
- Must perform all positions of rotation, if applicable. May use SAP if transferred/rotated
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to perform basic math functions (adding, subtracting, fractions, etc.)
- Must be able to work overtime and/or weekends as needed
- Must be able to reach high and low levels, frequently
- Ability to flex/grip with wrist/hands occasionally
- Must be able to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level up to 30 pounds frequently
- Must be able to work in extreme hot or cold temperatures in a damp environment.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
