GIS MAPPING SPECIALIST
INCOG, the principal planning agency for the Tulsa metropolitan area, is seeking
qualified candidates for the position of GIS Mapping Specialist. Primary
responsibilities include preparing parcel-based maps, performing parcel data
queries, editing, and maintaining GIS layers pertaining to zoning, annexations,
de-annexations, land use, and the associated E911 data layers these changes
might affect. Additional responsibilities include assisting the land department
with special mapping projects, mapping support for in-house staff, member
communities, public organizations, and the public. The candidate will work with
our member communities and community planners on a variety of projects,
including but not limited to comprehensive plans.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Earth Sciences or a
closely related field with emphasis on GIS; or successful completion of a college-
level GIS Certificate program. ESRI ArcGIS Desktop or ArcGIS Pro experience is
required. Knowledge of legal descriptions, cartography, and aerial photography
a plus. We are seeking applicants with 3 to 5 years’ experience using ESRI ArcGIS
desktop or ArcGIS Pro.
Starting salary range of $49,045.00-$61,307.00. INCOG offers a comprehensive
