We are seeking a Global Process Analyst to join the Global Business Services (GBS) team. This analyst will represent GBS in Order to Cash (O2C) projects related to the Internet Software and Services (IS&S), Retail, AppleCare, and other organizations. The analyst will assess the impact of these projects on GBS functions, and will work within GBS to develop balanced and scalable solutions that meet project goals. Familiarity with accounting areas such as AR, invoicing, and consumer payment reconciliation will be particularly important for this individual. This is a highly-visible role that requires not just deep financial expertise but also significant cross-functional team leadership and executive exposure. This person should have outstanding interpersonal, team building, and communication skills to drive tangible results within the organization.
Key Qualifications
- The successful candidate will be experienced in financial process design and analysis, and possess strong communication skills to coordinate between GBS and project teams.
- Ability to quickly develop an understanding of the current environment (including systems, policies, processes, and procedures) within the organization, such that decisions will be rooted in a strong foundation
- Excellent oral and written communications skills, including process documentation and presentation skills
- Proven track record of influencing personnel at all levels within the organization
- Outstanding attention to detail, while maintaining a global perspective, with an understanding of the broader downstream impacts of decisions and directions
- Knowledge of the project life cycle
- ERP experience required; solid understanding of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) modules strongly preferred
Description
- Liaising with Finance BPR, Business Partners, and IS&T Team to define as-is and to-be business processes and systems; developing business requirements documents in partnership with the O2C pillar, and advocate for O2C requirements in BRD reviews and Gap reviews - Represent O2C throughout the project life cycle, especially for key landmarks such as Playbacks, UAT, and PVT - Coordinating user acceptance testing including scheduling resources to validate system functionality, and crafting and performing use cases - Readying the GBS and impacted business partners for systems implementations through effective communications and end user training - Providing regular project updates to GBS management, and promptly presenting risk areas - Attending production team meetings to look out for other initiatives and process changes underway within the organization
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business or equivalent work experience required
