This role is a critical part of our Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS) organization. You will engage in current and future projects aiming to provide greater support and simplify the purchasing process, while adapting to a constantly evolving landscape. You will work with the internal procurement team, partner organizations, and internal customers to craft and implement changes to our programs, processes, and tools. In GSS, we strive to provide a high level service to support Adobe's rapid growth. What you need to succeed 3-5 Years Proven Experience
A solid foundation in business insight is essential to effectively influence at Adobe. Sourcing is a finance function, and candidates should have a familiarity with corporate finance (i.e. FP&A, financial modeling, planning cycles). Additionally, team members can act more strategically when they are familiar with various business functions. EQ, Influence and Customer Service Mentality
After closing a deal, an automated survey is sent to our internal partners. We strive for an outstanding partnership rating while seeking to ensure we're getting the best deal for Adobe. We look for people who can get results via supplier negotiation while maintaining and cultivating relationships with stakeholders. Critical Thinking / Problem Solving / Analytical Agility
Provided that no deals are exactly the same, team members must think through all viable options and rely on the best solution available, while working in an often ambiguous environment. Our business partners will often know more about a product/service, while we guide the analysis and provide insights on sourcing best practices. Category Manager Potential / Negotiations
We're not merely looking for team members that can complete deals... we're looking for future leaders within the organization. Proficiency in MS Tools & Familiarity with Business Tools
Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel, are fundamental to communication. It's also important to have familiarity with enterprise solutions (ERP/SAP), procurement specific tools (Ariba/Coupa), and the team would benefit from someone skilled in BI Tools (PowerBI/Tableau).
