Who We Are:
Job Title: Golf Club Administrative, Membership, and Marketing Coordinator
FLSA Status: Non Exempt
Department: Golf Club
Position Summary: Provide administrative support and oversight of membership and marketing pursuits and programs. Duties include general accounting, reporting, documentation, clerical, receptionist, and project-based work. Individual will project a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting responsibilities and membership accounts, including but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchase orders, shift reports, POS management, etc.
- Assist in the development of a strategic membership development program and take the lead in implementing and monitoring programs
- Assist in the development of advertising and promotional campaigns and take the lead in implementing various forms of media pursuit
- Maintain membership records, leads, and account updates, including the membership directory
- Network with community partners as deemed necessary and warranted
- Prepare monthly reports and newsletters
- Meet and greet clients and visitors in the office setting
- Create and modify documents
- Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to: answering phones, photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing
- Order supplies for Golf and Country Club
- Coordinate and maintain Staff records
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethic codes
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Ability
- Background experience and/or education in business, or related field
- Ability to analyze reports and financial information
- Ability to assist in the organization and planning of events
- Exceptional attention to details
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple projects
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to interface with a variety of audiences
- Ability to multi task in a fast-paced organization
- A superior work ethic
- Desire to work collaboratively with colleagues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Degree/Advanced degree in Accounting, Business, Sports Management, or related field
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Ability to lift, move, push and pull equipment or boxes in excess of 40lbs
- Should be able to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time
- Must be able to move around campus which includes gym, turf, fields, etc
- Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays is required
