Spicer Greene Jewelers, an upscale, full service, family owned jewelry store located in downtown Asheville for almost a century is seeking a Graduate Gemologist to become part of our team.

This is a Full-Time position.

Candidate will be responsible for showroom coverage and sales. This position also encompasses estate buying and pricing, which can include buying precious metals, as well as estate, antique and fine jewelry. Candidate will also assist with purchasing luxury time pieces, and grading diamonds and gemstones. Supporting sales associates with gemological information and sales will also be required.

An ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service and communication skills. The ability to be a team player is required. This position requires days, evenings and weekends.

Spicer Greene Jewelers is a professional setting, but we do have a lot of fun. There is quite a bit of room for growth within the company.

A Graduate Gemologist Degree is required. Retail Jewelry Sales Experience is preferred. No buying experience is necessary - We will provide on-the-job training to the right candidate.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
