Title: Guard Services Specialist

Location: Fairmont, VA

Duration: 12+ Months

Description:

• Day-to-day overseeing a third party security guard services, primarily at the Security Operations Center
• Must have 7+ years’ experience in field or similar
• Collects and summarizes performance data, identifies opportunities for improvement, and presents to Client Corporate Security team
• Assist with updating, maintaining, and enforcing Corporate Security policies and procedures related to monitoring (alarm directives, alarm response, etc.)
• Advanced program management & status reporting skills
• Responsible for guard post orders across footprint, Client rules and regulations, and company policy compliance
• Requires ability to travel to all Client locations with third party security guard services; may include overnight stays
• Ensures contractor performance standards are met
• Report audit outcomes, quality & service performance results to Client Corporate Security management
• Ensure proper time & rates are charged appropriately by third party guard service company
• Lead training of security guard personnel, including internal onboarding tasks
• Responsible for creating and maintaining accurate records in the contractor information management system software
• Identify training needs for security guard personnel
• Reports issues with security guard personnel to Client Corporate Security team
• Audit security incident intake including accurate and adequate entries in the incident management system, and correct logic used when launching security alerts
• Other related duties as assigned

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $90.00 per hour
