Scott Equipment - Resident Field Technician - While our branch is located in Jackson, we do not expect you to live in Jackson. We are looking for someone who lives around the Vicksburg area or any city over that way. You will be a Resident Field Tech covering a more regional area around your home location.

We need multiple heavy and light Equipment and/or Crane Field Techs and Shop Techs both at our Jackson location and Resident Field Techs in various surrounding cities.

We are needing resident techs around Hattiesburg, Greenville, and Vicksburg areas.

We also need Shop Techs with Heavy and Light Construction Equipment and Or Crane diagnostic and repair experience, and we offer the same Top pay plans and benefit packages.

Responsibilities

This Field Service Technician will operate a mobile service vehicle and travel to customer locations to perform in-field diagnostics and repair equipment as required. These repairs will consist of, but are not limited to, complete component removal, disassembly, and reconditioning, following prescribed technical manual procedures. This individual must be able to perform quality work as efficiently and profitably as possible and work overtime and weekends on occasion.

Qualifications

Excellent mechanical skills with significant Diesel, Hydraulic, Electrical, and Drive Train repair experience.

A current and valid driver’s license is required depending on the position.

Ability to assemble and perform maintenance functions on equipment

Strong computer skills

Excellent customer service skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Strong organizational skills

Must currently reside in the U.S.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $88,000.00 per year
