Aspen Aerogels, recognized as a technology leader in aerogel-based sustainability and electrification solutions, intends to invest at least $325 million at its new site at Bulloch County's Southern Gateway Commerce Park.
Production is expected to begin in late 2023 and are looking to fill approximately 250 positions. Aspen plans to build a 500,000-square-foot manufacturing facility situated on a 90-acre parcel. The company plans to begin hiring in the second half of 2022 for a range of positions including skilled manufacturing operators, advanced process engineers, quality and maintenance technicians and professional support.
