Requirements:
· Be able to manage time effectively, complete required tasks on time
· Knowledge of and ability to operate computer equipment and the reservations system.
Education & Experience:
· High School diploma or equivalent required
· Stable work history required
Mental requirements:
· Need to be a team player
· Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
· Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary
Duties and Functions:
1. Cleans the daily required number of rooms.
2. Takes care of all uniforms, equipment and supplies issued by the Executive Housekeeper/Housekeeping Supervisor.
3. Communicates with the Housekeeping Department on the status of all cleaned rooms. Calls the Housekeeper immediately as each room is completed, when requested.
4. Reports all room damage immediately.
5. Reports all missing items from rooms in assigned area.
6. Loads the room cart twice a day with one-half day’s supplies and equipment as issued by the Laundry Attendant.
7. Notifies the Executive Housekeeper/Housekeeping Supervisor of all rollaways and cribs found in check-out rooms, so that they can be picked up and properly stored.
8. Takes responsibility for the pass key received daily from the Executive Housekeeper/Housekeeping Supervisor. Secures it at all times and turns it in to the Executive Housekeeper at the end of each day.
9. Turns all “lost and found” items into the Executive Housekeeper/Housekeeping Supervisor immediately, listing the area or room number where found.
10. Deep cleans one room per day as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper/Housekeeping Supervisor .
11. Cleans and dries the room cart at the end of each shift and turns all leftover supplies in to the Executive Housekeeper/Housekeeping Supervisor .
12. Reports the following to the Executive Housekeeper/Housekeeping Supervisor.
13. Uses only those cleaning agents issued and mixed by the Executive Housekeeper.
14. Performs other duties as requested.
15. Contact with guests in performance of assigned duties.
16. Works closely with maintenance and housekeeping personnel to ensure guest satisfaction.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.30 per hour
